PROFILE

Jenny graduated from Colaiste Dhulaigh with a Higher National Diploma in Spatial Design in 2007 and subsequently began teaching there. She then went on to study at DIT and graduated with a first class honours degree in Interior and Furniture Design in 2009.

Her graduate project based on incorporating energy and movement into furniture received international critical acclaim and prompted her to start her own design business in early 2010.

Jenny aspires to design contemporary, evocative furniture pieces with personality and most importantly function.

Inspired by patterns of human interaction and movement, she hopes to create pieces you can connect to and therefore keep and love for a very long time.

Each piece is designed to utilize local craftsmen, techniques and skills to ensure that a Jenny Walsh Design purchase is an ethical purchase.

Jenny is a member of the Cream of Irish Design and of the Crafts Council of Ireland.

She works from the Malthouse Design Centre Dublin 1.
